Indoor air quality monitoring is progressively becoming an obligation in all institutions that welcome children. Ikibox air purifiers represent the solution to ensure pure indoor air.

The health of our children depends on what they breathe. As a matter of fact, they spend nearly 90% of their time inside ! The “Grenelle II” law adopted in 2010, introduced new regulations regarding indoor air quality for institutions receiving minors.

Since January the 1st 2018, nurseries, kindergartens schools, and primary schools must put in place a monitoring for the indoor air quality and if necessary set up an action plan if results aren’t good enough.

Since January the 1st 2020, this regulation is also applicable for recreation centres, grammar schools and high schools. In 2023, it will concern every institution receiving minors.

Good indoor air quality is essential for our children wellness

Particles matter, asbestos, microorganisms, allergens, chemical pollutants (VOC, endocrine disruptor, formaldehyde, radon…)… Indoor air contains many pollutants that can lead to tiredness, irritations, allergies or asthma.

In contrast, a good indoor air quality has “a positive effect on the absenteeism average, the occupiers wellness, and children’s learning”, according to the Ecological Transition and Solidarity Ministry. (download the guide at the end of the article)

Ikibox air purifiers, optimal performance for good air quality

Thanks to this revolutionary plasma-catalysis air purification technology, ikibox air purifiers can clean up 99.999% of indoor air in less than 10 minutes. Also, they are efficient against airborne contamination and prevent the spread of bacteria and virus between children.

Our solutions are adaptable to every space, from toilet facilities to gymnasium or classroom, offices and refectories. They all have the CE medical certification, and they only require maintenance every two years. They are particularly adaptable to institutes that receive vulnerable people. To face the Covid-19 pandemic, we loaned for free devices to hospitals and retirement homes.
